Recently teaching at TAFE and running corporate travel and tourism-related training, Diane successfully managed the Australian/New Zealand office of Tourism Ireland between 2012 and 2015. During her tenure, visitation from Australia grew by over 24%. With over 25 years of experience in the travel industry, he has worked in a variety of roles, including retail, wholesale, and travel insurance. Throughout his career, Merrick has developed a deep understanding of the industry and has cultivated many long-standing relationships with travel agents and key suppliers. As a keen traveller himself, Merrick has worked and lived overseas, which has given him a unique perspective on the industry. He has a passion for all things travel-related, and his extensive experience and knowledge make him an invaluable asset to the Jones & Co sales team. After working in Perth and Melbourne for TAA/Australian Airlines and Qantas for many years in agency sales, resorts, and conventions. Julie had a successful career in National Australia Travel as an Advertising Manager before it merged with American Express. After taking a break, Julie returned to the industry where she completed her studies and graduated with a Cert IV in Travel and Tourism from the Jetset Training College. Having travelled extensively and escorted several overseas groups, Julie brings a wealth of experience in sales and connections in the travel & tourism industry.
Antoinette has worked in the travel and tourism industries her entire career, starting with Alitalia in Italy, then relocating to Australia and working for American Express Vacations within their European division. Antoinette’s approach to customer service, her vast wealth of knowledge, and her sales skills make her the perfect fit for the Jones & Co sales team. Antoinette is responsible for product and training to the travel trade within New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, and Queensland.
